Giving to ALS Research

Dr. Greg Valdez, an assistant professor at the Virginia Tech Carilion Research Institute, is doing cutting-edge research on ALS. Sparked by the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in 2014, we have received many inquiries about giving to ALS research at the Virginia Tech Carilion Research Institute. Please consider taking the challenge and making your donation to Dr. Valdez’s lab and ALS research that will have global impact.

To donate, you may:

  • Write a check, made payable to Virginia Tech Foundation with “Valdez Lab/ALS” in the memo line and send to: Development Office, Virginia Tech Carilion Research Institute, 2 Riverside Circle, Roanoke, VA 24016.
  • Make a secure gift online. Enter the gift amount in the amount box, click the blue box and write in “VTCRI Greg Valdez Lab,” and then complete the rest of the form.
