The Center for Excellence in Education sponsors professional-enrichment Bite of Science events for middle and high school teachers who teach science, technology, engineering, and math subjects. Bite of Science events are designed to improve teachers’ ability to provide students a context of how science is applied in the real world and inspire students to pursue careers of excellence and leadership in STEM.

This particular Bite of Science session is estimated to impact at least 3,400 students in Roanoke and surrounding communities.
