Dr. McEvoy’s research program is focused on the regulation of differentiation and proliferation during normal development and tumorigenesis. She has developed two projects to study gene regulation and epigenetic modifications in both normal and diseased tissue from retinoblastoma and other pediatric solid tumors. In her presentation, she will discuss data from these studies that will be used to shed light on fundamental mechanisms of normal development and possibly to provide novel therapeutic approaches.

Justina D. McEvoy, PhD is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Developmental Neurobiology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
