Are you currently pursuing a PhD or already have your PhD? Are you interested in hearing about all of the exciting career opportunities for PhDs in the US government? You are invited to attend "Careers for PhDs in Government" on Thursday, May 29, at the Virginia Tech Carilion Research Institute in Roanoke. This career talk will be led by two senior National Institutes of Health officials, Patricia Labosky, PhD, Program Leader at the Office of Strategic Coordination at the Division of Program Coordination, Planning and Strategic Initiatives in the Office of the Director, and Alison K. Hall, PhD, Deputy Director of the Division of Training, Workforce Development and Diversity at the National Institute of General Medical Sciences. They will discuss the many avenues available to PhDs in government.
