Memory T cells are long-lived and IL-7 and IL-15 are critical survival factors. Dr. Susan Kaech will present on recent results of a new role for IL-7 in promoting memory T cell survival through the regulation of lipogenesis. egulation of memory T cell development - how long-lived, protective memory T cells are formed after infection and vaccination. Application this knowledge to understand how T cells are regulated in different tissue contexts, such as in the lungs to fight respiratory infections and in tumors to identify new ways to stimulate antitumor T cell responses.
